Deja began her massage career in 2008 after attending Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle, WA. Her career began with a solid foundation in injury prevention and rehabilitation and evolved as she gained experience through diverse job experiences. Deja has had the honor to work along side performers of the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Theatrical performers at Seattle's Paramount Theater, clinical settings, luxury resorts, and boutique spas. Her passion has been to help her clients gain the necessary tools and receive effective treatments to give long term results for chronic pain, injury and overall wellness. Deja brings her years of experience with Injury Treatment, Deep Tissue, Myofascial release and Trigger Point Therapy and the ability to physically and intuitively listen to create a session unique to her clients specific needs. Her work is deep, slow and subtle to allow the body to release naturally and provide long lasting results.
In April of 2013 Deja opened the doors of Vashon bodywork to create a space for the community and those who visit to relax, unwind and find ease and less pain within their bodies. Vashon Bodywork provides result driven treatments in a deeply relaxing spa atmosphere.
Deja stepped away from her massage practice in 2019 to oversee the operation of Vashon Bodywork and her family's second business Vashon Bikes. She balances her time between being a full time business owner, raising two young children and enjoys spending her time in nature hiking and mountain biking with her family.
